Headlining the impressive line-up is Riviera's flagship 72 Sports Motor Yacht. The 72 has undergone tweaks in engineering and technology to improve the yachts voyaging capabilities and offers greater range and speed. Other enhancements have been made to the guest and crew accommodation.
Also premiering at the show are the 72's sisterships, the outstanding 64 and 50 Sports Motor Yacht.
From the classic Belize collection, there is the Belize 54 Daybridge. This model offers an impressive new flybridge and hardtop design, greater speed and improved owner comforts.
Additionally, the Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht, 395 SUV and Belize 66 Daybridge completes the line-up.
"Individually these magnificent motor yachts have inspired owners to join the growing Riviera family in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, and together they showcase the Riviera essence of ultra-luxury, superior technology and supreme sea-keeping qualities," said Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst.
"We are proud and humble to be able to premiere four new models at Fort Lauderdale, especially in these current times. Our inspirational design team are equally as passionate and committed to evolution as Wes and I, and we are sure that everyone who visits our showcase at Fort Lauderdale will be extremely impressed with the very latest from Riviera."
Highlights of the Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht are its offshore performance, and long-range voyaging capabilities. Onboard the 72 is a number of entertaining spaces including the alfresco deck, foredeck zone and flybridge 'sky lounge' with separate deck.
Externally, the 72 features a distinctive sweeping hull window design which fills the accommodation deck with natural light and fresh sea air. The flybridge aft rail now mirrors the signature finish of the hard top giving an even sleeker appearance to the yacht. Upgrades to the cockpit means there is now greater storage options, with large insulated lockers.
Guest accommodation features a new larger third stateroom design featuring cross-over single berths.
There is a new engine room layout with new technology such as digital fuel and water tank gauges mounted externally at the filler points that are integrated into the onboard digital switching and monitoring system.
Power has also been upgraded to twin 2000hp shaft drive MAN V12, complementing the soft-riding and efficient hull designed by architect Frank Mulder.
The 72 SMY's beam of 6 metres is carried well aft, aiding stability and allows for a more expansive layout for entraining and accommodation spaces.
For owners looking for a scaled down version of the 72 and 68 Sports Motor Yachts that offers the same sporting performance, will do well to check out the new 64-foot model making its premiere.
The new 64 Sports Motor Yacht offers an air-conditioned alfresco deck that connects to the aft gourmet galley. In the saloon, an internal staircase leads to the four-sided enclosed flybridge with its own rear deck, whilst a side door from the saloon leads to deep and wide walk-around side decks.
Owners will have a choice of three or four staterooms, including a full beam master suite and either a utility room or crew cabin. The foredeck has space for a 3.6-metre tender and can convert into a plush entertainment zone.
The new 64 Sports Motor Yacht is equipped of the twin shaft drive MAN diesels available with a choice of V8-1300hp or V12-1550hp. The hull transitions onto the plane in seconds and accelerates rapidly to well over 34 knots with the MAN V12's.
"We strive to ensure that every one of our motor yachts is the best it can possibly be, from our sporty and adventurous 395 SUV right through our flagship 72 Sports Motor Yacht," Longhurst said.
