Olympic bowed out of the finals with 3-1 and 4-0 losses to Magic and Maitland respectively but they finished third on the ladder and returned to the play-offs for the first time since 2017.
Interim coach Alex Tagaroulias took over after the exit of Peter McGuinness on season's eve and now hands over to new boss Joel Griffiths, who will have a strong squad to call on.
Tagaroulias said his first-grade squad had been re-signed and he confirmed Davies (Maitland), Bailey (Valentine), Rutledge and Townsend (Adamstown) were returning. He said the quartet would add depth to Olympic, who will also have import Anthony Marenghi again if he can stay in the country. Striker Kent Harrison is set to attend US college, if COVID restrictions ease, but he could still return to play a role in 2021.
Most satisfying for Tagaroulias this season was the rise of young talent through the club's ranks to become key first-team players.
"Jakob Cresnar, Tom Stewart, Tim Stewart and Jared Muller had breakout seasons," he said. "That's been exceptional and we've still got Tom Curran to come back from injury.
"I only see positives going forward. I'm happy with the year, they kept turning up and putting in. They've been very supportive, so I can only be proud of them."
The effort helped Olympic take the NPL club championship. They also won in the Herald Women's Premier League club crown on debut.
