The 21-year-old has made way for the return of Test paceman Mitchell Starc in the Blues' XII.
Sangha, the former Australian under-19 captain, played only one Shield game last season after he was a regular in 2018-19.
He was recalled for round one of this campaign, scoring seven batting at No.6 and finishing with 0-73 from 13 overs of leg spin.
He spent 85.5 overs padded up as the next man in after Moises Henriques (167) and Daniel Solway (86) shared a 244-run partnership.
Sangha's absence against Queensland means the Blues could go into the game with only five specialist batsmen, followed by wicket-keeper Peter Neville and a bowling attack comprising Starc, Trent Copeland, Sean Abbott, Nathan Lyon and Harry Conway.
Internationals Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, David Warner and Adam Zampa are all unavailable because of IPL commitments.
