Police moved on the 16-year-old boy on Sunday morning, arresting him at a home in Scone shortly after 9.30am.
Police will allege he was behind an armed hold-up on the night of November 16 in Scone.
Officers claim the teen entered the fast food restaurant on Kelly Street and was wielding a knife.
He's alleged to have threatened a 19-year-old male staff member and demanded cash.
The employee handed over a sum of cash and the offender fled.
