Martins Creek trainers Geoff and Leanne Grimwood scored a double with littermates Golden Zesta and Pixie Zesta in heats of the Australia Day Cup (400 metres) at Maitland on Monday night.

Pixie Zesta overcame a bunched start and wide run on the bend and down the home straight to beat the David Betts-trained Boab in heat two by 2.5 lengths in 22.52 seconds.
In heat one, her brother Golden Zesta started well, also from box six, to hold out the Michael and Michelle Lill-trained favourite, Robbie Rotten, for the lead. He then held on by a quarter of a length to down Robbie Rotten in 22.31.
In heat three, Bright Blue Tutu, for trainer Tony Desira, beat El Roller (Shane Cartwright. The final will be held next Monday night.
Earlier, the Lill-trained More Sauce, a full brother to Robbie Rotten, made a stunning track debut at Maitland, winning his 400m assignment by more than seven lengths in 21.99 seconds. Precious Sal's 2018 track record stands at 21.87.
The Greta dog's win was his seventh in nine career starts.
The Jason Mackay-trained Impress Lleyton made it three wins in a row at Maitland when he claimed the 450m 4th/5th grade event.
