Graham steered the Ian Gurney-trained Avonnova to victory in the group 2 Newcastle Mile in 2014 in a track record time of 1:52:2, beating Beautide's mark of 1:52:6.
Majordan now holds the track standard at 1:50:7, which was set in last year's Newcastle Mile win.
Now a group 1 $100,000 race, the Newcastle Mile has already this year attracted Miracle Mile favourite Lochinvar Art.
The superstar's owner, Lake Macquarie businessman Kevin Gordon, confirmed last week the six-time group 1 winner would contest the race.
Lochinvar Art's likely presence has seemingly not deterred trainer Vicki Rasmussen and Graham from bringing Turn It Up to Newcastle as a possible lead-in to the $1 million Miracle Mile.
"Touch wood, Vicki, that's what she's planning on doing," Graham said of racing in the Newcastle Mile.
"That race looks pretty good for him.
"It's two weeks before the mile and you get the invite, so fingers crossed it happens."
Turn It Up was on the third line of betting for the March 6 Miracle Mile at Menangle with the TAB at $10.
The six-year-old was formerly trained by Natalie Rasmussen and Mark Purdon in New Zealand, where he won the Auckland Cup and Harness Jewells for 4YOs before injury setbacks.
After 16 months out of racing, the Courage Under Fire gelding has had five starts back, all at Albion Park, including a third in the group 1 Blacks A Fake and an impressive last-start 1660m win in 1:54:0.
"Everything seems good with him," Graham said.
"Touch wood, he's healthy and sound, which is the main concern with him because he's had issues along the way.
"But at the moment, she's happy with him and everything is good.
"At this stage we are heading down next week because we have One Change in a heat of the Chariots of Fire, the week before the Newcastle Mile.
"So he'll settle in down there and then we'll bring him up for the Newcastle Mile.
"The original plan was to come straight down for the Mile but now we have One Change going for the Chariots.
"We'll be at John McCarthy's place then go down to Newcastle."
Graham said the entry of Lochinvar Art should help make the eight-horse Newcastle Mile "a cracker of a race".
"I've had a bit of luck in it," he said.
"I'm pretty sure [Avonnova's win] is the only time I've been in it, so one for one.
"Hopefully I can keep that unbeaten record."
