For owner Kevin Gordon, Lochinvar Art's group 1 wins are becoming hard to rank after his commanding victory in the $500,000 Hunter Cup at Melton.

But for the Lake Macquarie businessman, the Newcastle Mile will still be at the top of his list if the superstar pacer can win on February 19.
Lochinvar Art racked up his seventh group 1 victory and took his prizemoney to $1,368,456 with his biggest cheque yet - $285,000 - on Saturday night.
Cruising to an early lead, the $1.30 favourite dictated the pace for trainer-driver David Moran then kicked clear late and was never challenged in the 2760-metre Cup to win by 6.4m in a 1:54:8 mile rate.
The victory further stamped Lochinvar Art as the best pacer in Australasia and lifted anticipation ahead of his appearance in the $100,000 Newcastle Mile.
Gordon has long wanted to win the group 1 on his home track with his dream pacer, which he bought as a yearling for just $29,000, and he said 'Arty' remained on track to race in the Miracle Mile qualifier at Newcastle.
"He pulled up beautiful, he'll be right," Gordon said.
"He ran home in a 53.1 half, which is pretty quick, and David said he had a little bit in reserve. He stopped driving him the last little bit.
"He'll just freshen him up now because his last three starts have all been over 2700 and now he heads to the Newcastle Mile and Miracle Mile.
"I think David is coming up Tuesday night and he'll probably stay at Luke McCarthy's and then come up Friday for the Mile. Then he'll hopefully stable him somewhere in Newcastle overnight and David will camp with us."
Gordon was trackside to experience the thrilling win and "electric" atmosphere, but he said it was hard to rank where the occasion sat among Lochinvar Art's 28 victories across 50 starts.
"I still think the night that got me the most excited was when he went 1:48:6 in the Bonanza [at Melton] this time last year," he said.
"To run 1:48:6 - I think he was the first to break 1:50 on a 1000-metre track - so that's a pretty incredible feat.
"it's pretty crazy to think which one of seven group 1s stand out. It is a little humbling to say that. They are all impressive, they are all exciting.
"The Hunter Cup has probably got the biggest name of all the wins. The big three are the Miracle Mile, Inter Dominion and the Hunter Cup, so one down, two to go.
"But the Newcastle Mile is up there on top of my bucket list, don't worry about that."
Racing returns to Newcastle Paceway on Monday.
The Peter Neilson-trained Its Allabout Alice will back up from a win at the track on Friday night in the fifth.
The standout win on Friday night came from the Melanie Elder-trained Ashark, which went a career-best 1:52:3 to make it three consecutive victories at the track.
