Zipping Miami has won his two starts for Tyler, at Richmond and Bulli, since coming from Victoria and he looks a genuine chance from box five in race nine (400m).
Zipping Lockett, which has box four in race seven (400m), has won twice and placed three times in six starts.
Former Victorian Unlawful Lad is after a maiden win in race two (400m) from box five after six placings in eight starts. Only one, a second at Bulli, has been for Tyler.
"They are going to be all right. They are a work in progress," Tyler said.
"Zipping Miami and Zipping Lockett are probably the pick of them. They are going to be pretty good but they are a bit new still.
"They had a few little issues when we got them and we had to sort them out, but they are going really well.
"The maiden in the second race, he's promising as well. Trying to find suitable races to get him out of a maiden has been the problem, but I'm hoping tomorrow at Maitland is the one.
"The three of them trialled really well up there so I'm expecting them all to do well.
"They were well graded there and Maitland is a great track for inexperienced dogs. They tend to spread a little bit.
"They are not high-speed dogs, they are going to get further, but it gives them a chance to put themselves into the race."
He said the middle box draws were only a concern for Zipping Miami.
"Lockett will miss the kick anyway and just flop over to the fence," he said.
"Miami needs the inside but the maiden dog is the opposite. He runs a little bit off the fence so he's probably going to be OK."
