Woods won with Convoluted, Mr Beethoven and Happy Dash on the 12-race program, which was marred by an injury to record-breaker Laurie's Flyer.
Trained at Branxton by John Miles, Laurie's Flyer was attempting to come back from a muscle injury he sustained in his most recent win, at Gosford on February 9.
The $1.33 favourite was slowly away from box three in race five, a non-graded 400-metre event, before pulling up on the turn and limping to the line.
Laurie's Flyer, The Gardens 272m track record-holder at 15.13, had won his previous 10 starts and now had 28 in 43 starts overall. He also holds the Wentworth Park 280m record with a 15.72 run.
Happy Dash was the winner in his race on Friday, clocking a personal-best 22.62 seconds to hold out Hudson Bolt by almost two lengths.
Twelve Mile Creek trainer Betty Keene grabbed a double at the meeting with Art Royal and Liberty Pearl, which both scored narrow wins.
Racing returns to The Gardens on Saturday with an 11-race card from 5.45pm.
