The Fernando Bale bitch was strong early from box eight to edge out Me Me Mia for the lead out of the first turn in the Golden Easter Egg Prelude (520m). She then sped clear for a 3.5-length victory in 29.9 seconds.
It was an 18th win in 26 starts and kept her on track for the Golden Easter Egg heats on March 20 at Wentworth Park. Grimwood said she would keep racing at the track leading into the series.
"That's her, about 29.8, 29.9, and it's just those first two sections that put her right into the race," Grimwood said. "If you are leading and get a bit of a break, it's always hard for them to run you down.
"She's getting stronger with racing and a bit of age. She's doing everything right and is chasing nice. As long as she holds up, she will definitely go in heats of the Egg."
Meanwhile, Wentworth Park (280m) and Gardens (272m) track record-holder Laurie's Flyer suffered a fractured offside hock on Friday.
The John Miles-trained star was aiming for 11 wins in a row when he broke down in race five at The Gardens.
