Kim Searle, aged 38, was last seen leaving a property in Newcastle last week. Her family hasn't heard from her since.
Hunter Valley police were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.
Kim is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with dark hair, blue eyes, and tattoos of dragonflies and flowers on her arms.
She is known to frequent regional Victoria as well as the Scone, Muswellbrook and Newcastle areas.
Anyone who may have information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
