IT TOOK more than 20 firefighters to battle a blaze that broke out at a home on the Central Coast. A fire at a home on Eloora Road, Long Jetty ignited shortly before midnight Tuesday.

Firefighters received numerous Triple-0 calls from the Long Jetty community reporting the blaze in the duplex home.
On arrival NSW Fire and Rescue crews found large flames issuing through the roof of the home, threatening the neighbouring property.
They launched preventative measure to stop the fire spreading. Residents of the home and of the adjoining property managed were safely evacuated.
Paramedics treated one woman for shock at the scene. The fire was extinguished just after 1.30am Wednesday. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
