The luxurious home at 23 Grasmere Way is being marketed by Belle Property Lake Macquarie's Anthony Di Nardo, who told the Newcastle Herald it would be hard to find a comparable property.
The wow factor is endless.
The block is 1167 square metres in size and features a four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence with an in-house cinema designed by David Moseley of Wavetrain Cinemas. There is also a games room complete with a bar and saltwater aquarium.
Then there is the HIA award-winning outdoor retreat, featuring a kitchen, resort-like pool, sauna and a poolside pavilion with bathroom.
Completing the dream family package is an in-ground trampoline.
The property is open on Saturday at 1.30pm and set for auction on March 20.
Not a record sale
There is a rumour circulating that First National Newcastle City's George Rafty has sold a home in Bar Beach Avenue in Bar Beach for over $9 million but he has categorically denied the gossip.
Such a sale would well surpass the $7.25 million paid last year to secure 38 John Parade, Merewether. That result broke new ground for Newcastle by surpassing the long-standing city sale record of $7 million paid for Jesmond House on The Hill in 2008.
History in Waratah
It is described by agent Jesse Wilton, of PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, as "one of the best offerings for Waratah" and on Saturday the Victorian home known as Thornton Residence is set to go under the hammer on site at 9am.
Mr Wilton is marketing the four-bedroom, two-storey home with a guide of $950,000. It was built in 1889 and retains its heritage facade while being modernised inside. The property also has a pool.
Listings over $1m
Robinson Property's Mike Flook said a three-bedroom house on a block 518 square metres in size at 52 Morgan Street in Merewether was "perfect for those looking at renovating and extending to knocking down and building". It has a guide of $1.25 million to $1.35 million and attracted 20 groups through its first inspection last Saturday.
A custom-designed residence with four bedrooms and two bathrooms at 5 Mirral Crescent, New Lambton is being marketed by McGrath New Lambton's Todd Mason with a guide of $1.45 million to $1.55 million.
A five-bedroom waterfront reserve home with a "sought-after" north-facing aspect at 41 Balcolyn Street in Balcolyn presents "extremely good value", according to McGrath Toukley's Mitchell Thomas. The property has been used as an AirBnb and is set for auction on March 20 with interest expected at $1.45 million.
Listings $500,000 to $1m
Belle Property Lake Macquarie's Sam Taylor has a tri-level family home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and million-dollar lake views for sale at 9 Goonda Promenade, Wangi Wangi with a guide of $875,000 to $950,000.
Damon Sellis, of Street Property, is marketing 28-apartment development The Ivy Broadmeadow to be built at 50 Brunker Road. Prices start from $440,000 for one-bedroom apartments, from $540,000 for two bedrooms and from $670,000 for three bedrooms.
Listings under $500,000
Belle Property Lake Macquarie are expected to be guiding around $475,000 for a three-bedroom villa at 9/115 Ambleside Circuit in Lakelands.
