Opera and ... beer?
For something completely different during Newcastle Food Month, FogHorn BrewHouse and the Newcastle Music Festival team are presenting two entertaining dining events: Bon Appetit! A Sweet Soiree (an operatic comedy depicting celebrity cook Julia Child baking a chocolate gateau) on April 20; and Berlin Electric Kabarett & Food (tenor Brad Cooper accompanied by pianist Bev Kennedy) on April 27. Tickets are on sale now and include a two-course meal and drink on arrival.
A cafe with soul
