He never gives it a second thought.
"It comes with the game that sort of pressure but I'm just happy to be out there," he says. "I do the preparation and all the stuff during the week and just go out there and play footy and do what I do best."
Doing what he does best is terrorising rival defences with his return from an elbow injury against the Sharks tonight at McDonald Jones Stadium very timely.
After playing a major role in the Knights opening two wins of the season, Best has missed the side's past three defeats after suffering an elbow hyper-extension during a training mishap prior to the Wests Tigers loss.
His explosive attacking ability out wide has been sorely missed and with him and Kalyn Ponga set to play together for the first time this season, if gives the Knights a far more threatening look.
The teenage centre says he is looking forward to taking on ex-Knight Jesse Ramien.
"That will be a good challenge," he said. "I haven't versed him yet but it will be a good battle between me and Jesse."
Best claims there is no issue with his elbow, saying the injury itself was not as bad as he first feared.
"The injury is 100 percent. I probably could have been fine to play last week but the coach gave me another week so it's good to go," he said.
Asked about the big loss to the Titans last weekend, Best said: "We knew that wasn't us.
"We looked at the video and we definitely know where we need to improve and you'll see a difference tomorrow night. You can feel it. We are definitely a bit hungrier - there's fire in the belly and you'll see that come out tomorrow night.
"The Sharks - they are a good side. They'll come here tomorrow night ready to prove a point. They throw the footy around, they are a good attacking side so both our edges and as a team, we need to be ready to defend whatever they throw at us."
It's been a tumultuous week for the Sharks with coach John Morris dumped and they won't have their skipper Wade Graham, who is out with concussion.
But Knights captain Jayden Brailey, a former Shark, knows first hand how well the club has handled being in the spotlight for the wrong reasons in the past.
"They've got some older heads still there and their whole team is going to come up here united and ready to take the two points back with them," he said.
'We know we are going to be in for a fight that's for sure because their form has been pretty good. They should have beaten the Roosters."
Brailey said he can't fault the attitude of his teammates since the loss to the Titans.
"It's a massive game for us, especially here at home," he said. "Starting well is going to be a key. I don't think we have started well all season so that has been a big focus this week."
