Second only to Danny Buderus as the greatest hooker in the club's history, McCormack played 154 top grade games for the club between 88-96, only to finish his Knights' career sadly unwanted by the Knights when coach Mal Reilly brought English international Lee Jackson to the club the year before Newcastle's ARL premiership win.
