This exhibition features textured hand-woven wall-hangings by Burton influenced by the Australian landscape.
Her works are characterised by contrasting loops, tassels and woven thick and thin natural and acrylic wools. Textures play an important role in transcribing a feeling of the environment onto the viewer.
Similarly with Dyer's paintings and mixed media installation. Dyer uses colour intelligently with textured paint to evoke a sense of peacefulness and tranquility.
Her works portray her deepening appreciation for the domestic garden and the healing power of plants.
The exhibition also includes an online auction with 10 per cent being donated to 'Global Gardens of Peace', an organisation committed to creating "sustainable green spaces for vulnerable communities" - visit jodyer.com.au.
