There mightn't be much for the vegetarians, but if you love your meat it's definitely worth taking a drive out to the western Hunter Valley town of Broke. Sample various cuts of meat barbecued and roasted across multiple food outlets. There's also plenty of Hunter wines and craft beers to wash down those ribs and brisket.
