Belle Property Lake Macquarie's Mick Phillips will donate the commission from the sale of 44 Crescent Road to the school.
The four-bedroom brick house is positioned on a 744 square metre block with a bush backdrop. It has attracted 73 groups throughout its campaign and is set to go under the hammer at midday with a guide of $700,000.
"This property is in the catchment zone for Charlestown South Public School, so I'm going to be donating the commission to the school for use for some new facilities," Mr Phillips said.
Mr Phillips lives and works in the area and has a child who attends the school.
"I was on the lookout for the right property in the right catchment for the school and the right owner to work with," Mr Phillips said.
"This property came along and it's going really well. It looks like we're going to have a pretty competitive bidding auction.
"There have been lots of couples and young families looking as schools zones become a pretty big deal when kids come along. We've been really happy with the school so it's been good to be able to give something back."
