The 4.30pm game on Sunday was 1-1 at half-time when electrical problems left most of the pitch in darkness. The lighting issue became noticeable late in the half as daylight faded.
Because less than an hour of play was completed, the match will start again from zero. Rene Ferguson's header for Azzurri to open the scoring and Jared Muller's equaliser off a Dino Fajkovic strike were wiped from the record books, as were any cards.
** Northern NSW Football will host their second Mental Health Round across its premier competitions this weekend.
NNSWF boss David Eland said the governing body remained committed to the initiative after last year's inaugural round, which included clubs adopting a mental health pledge to foster an inclusive, supportive and respectful culture.
** The long-awaited clash between rivals Broadmeadow and Edgeworth became a must-see double feature thanks to the FFA Cup draw last week.
Broadmeadow, with former Edgeworth coach Damian Zane at the helm, host the Eagles in round nine of the NPL on May 30 but they now also clash at Magic Park four days earlier in round five of NNSW FFA Cup section.
Other cup games that week are Adamstown v Belmont Swansea, Charlestown v Jaffas, Maitland v Olympic, Valentine v Lake Macquarie and Dudley Redhead v Weston.
