Jurd's Real Estate have reported several significant sales in the region with most plenty of out-of-area interest.
Cain Beckett and Shelly Jurd sold The Grange on Hermitage at 820 Hermitage Road in Pokolbin for its asking price of $3 million within seven days of launching it to market.
The property was over 10 hectares in size and located close to Hunter Valley Gardens, concert venues, golf courses, cellar doors and restaurants. It featured a boutique vineyard and the main homestead was configured as private accommodation and three guest rooms with their own access. There were also two self-contained luxury cottages.
"The Grange was a fast result with two buyers on it," Mr Beckett said.
"It was a good result and indicative of people out of Sydney and Newcastle trying to buy something to use for a weekender or to move up."
Jurd's also reported the $2.2 million sale of a luxury five-bedroom residence on around four hectares of land at 1638 Wine Country Drive in Rothbury. Mr Beckett said they had sold the property two years earlier for $1.3 million.
Jurd's are guiding around $3.75 million for a new listing in Nulkaba - a six-bedroom Tuscan-inspired home on nearly 15 hectares of land with a four-bedroom guest cottage at 160 Lomas Lane.
