The limited capacity Fresh Produce concerts, partially-funded by the Federal Government's Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand initiative, were to take place on August 27 and 28 at Maitland Showground.
It follows the cancellation of Groovin The Moo music festivals in Maitland, Townsville, Bunbury, Canberra, Bendigo and Wayville for the second consecutive year.
Cattleyard Promotions issued the following statement:
"The team at Cattleyard would like to extend a genuine thank you to everyone involved with Fresh Produce - from the patrons who purchased tickets, to the incredible artists who jumped on board, to our team, our eight venues and of course to our many suppliers and community groups, we are very grateful for your ongoing support.
"Unfortunately, it is with much sadness that we advise the timing and current conditions do not align for Cattleyard to fulfil a national show of this nature.
"Providing a great live music experience for patrons, artists, team and suppliers alike is our priority and at the core of Cattleyard's ethos - and we don't feel it's possible to deliver this consistently across all eight different regions around the country in spring 2021.
"All Fresh Produce ticket holders will be contacted directly by Moshtix in the coming days with refund information.
"Cattleyard is looking forward to returning in 2022."
