Launching online on Thursday morning, it also features Hunter winemaker Lisa McGuigan and late Australian fashion doyen Carla Zampatti.
Newcastle raised editor-in-chief and celebrity stylist Lara Lupish said the eleventh issue of Facon, which launched in 2015, celebrated "successful, strong women".
"These women have worked hard emotionally, physically and psychologically to make their mark not only for themselves but for those around them and to create a legacy for their friends and family," she said.
Lupish dashed down the freeway to Sydney on Wednesday to collect items from the late Zampatti's collection, which will feature on the catwalk at the magazine launch on Thursday night at Vamp by Lisa McGuigan in Pokolbin.
She said it was the first time a Zampatti collection had been shown in the Hunter.
Newcastle model Joel Notley, who features in the current and previous issue of Facon, will be on the runway at the launch alongside Chloe Evans, the 2019 Face of Facon winner.
Lupish said the cover shoot featuring Coleman was partly shot on location at the University of Newcastle School of Creative Industries.
"Shiralee was very brave and was actually suspended on a crane up off the ground for the cover shot in Carrington!" she said.
The Femme Issue highlights "a collection of powerful women from the fashion industry and beyond" who Lupish describes as "fierce women and passionate entrepreneurs who have made their mark in fashion, beauty, wine and finance industries."
The free luxury magazine is available via subscription and will feature in the reading list on the in-room tablets at Crystalbrook Kingsley, Newcastle's recently opened first five-star hotel.
