Mr Tsiaousis is marketing the one-of-a-kind, five-bedroom residence on 3.1 acres at 22 Leumeah Close.
It is tucked away at the end of an exclusive cul-de-sac and entry is via a circular driveway. But the home's talking point is inside - an extensive use of native timbers throughout.
A labour of love for its original cabinet-maker owner, the home blends perfectly with its natural surrounds. Floor-to-ceiling walls of glass bring the outside in.
There are cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and bridge pylons sourced from Tasmania are a feature of the hand-crafted kitchen. The two wings of the home are anchored by open plan living. There is an in-ground swimming pool, a multi-purpose room and a tradesman's shed.
"This one's a bit unique," Mr Tsiaousis. "The first phone enquiry came out of Sydney and I think we'll get a lot of interest from out of Newcastle, people looking for that lifestyle change."
A guide has not yet been set. It is open Saturday at midday.
Popular position
Teresa Heighington, of Ray White Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, believes lifestyle is also driving interest for three properties she is marketing in Kahibah and Dudley.
She reported 40 groups through last Saturday's open of a four-bedroom house with a pool at 16 Bickton Close in Dudley. It is open again Saturday at 11am and set for auction on August 7. A guide has not yet been set.
Ms Heighington also has a three-bedroom home at 3 Frederick Street, which is open at 10am Saturday, and a two-bedroom house at 59 Hamilton Street in Kahibah. The latter will be open at midday.
"There were 40 families through Bickton, all looking for that open space but still wanting the lifestyle Lake Macquarie offers," Ms Heighington said. "All three are lifestyle addresses. They're still close to the city but with that quieter feel."
"They've become sought-after areas and they don't come up very often."
