First National Newcastle City's Roger Ingham, in conjunction with API Property Specialist Agents, has marketed the grand residence at 113 Everton Street with an auction guide of $2.95 million.
The home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, formal and informal lounge and dining spaces, and a large entertaining pavilion overlooking an in-ground swimming pool.
It is set on a large corner block 1076 square metres in size with frontage also to Steel Street. It will auction at midday.
"We've had strong inspections and interest on the property over the past four weeks with interest from as far away as Yamba and country areas," Mr Ingham said.
Street Property have a large four-bedroom house at 51 Samdon Street, Hamilton headed for auction today at 9.30am with a guide of $1.8 million to $1.9 million.
Last Saturday, a tri-level house with seven bedrooms at 29 Charlotte Street in Merewether sold under the hammer for $2.85 million. It was marketed by Robinson Property's Mike Flook.
A two-bedroom unit at 24/57 Nesca Parade, The Hill marketed by Belle Property Lake Macquarie with a guide of $490,000 sold before auction for $537,500.
