And I'm not sure walking the dog qualifies.
Under tightened rules which came into effect across NSW last Monday, a mask has to be warn at all times now when you go outside.
The only reason you don't have to wear a mask is if you are exercising, strenuously or vigorously.
Now for some of us, after three weeks of lockdown, getting out of bed might equate to strong and vigorous exercise.
But apparently you don't have to wear a mask for that.
It's more recommended when you stumble into the bathroom and witness your iso noggin.
With the beauty salons closed, it was always gonna get ugly.
Not surprisingly the hardest part of this snap lockdown has been the first three weeks. Boom boom.
And as we mark off that milestone I can assure you I have plans for the weekend.
They're pretty much the same as last weekend.
Might hang out in the laundry in the morning, hit the loungeroom mid arvo, maybe hit something a littler harder later in the day.
It's all about discipline and motivation.
And after years of wanting to thoroughly clean the house but feeling like I've lacked the time, I've discovered that wasn't the reason.
My worry has been I'm letting myself go.
So every few days I try on the jeans, just in case the pyjamas have been lying.
Mental health is important too.
I saw my neighbour talking to her cat the other day and it seemed she thought the cat understood her.
I told my dog about it later on and we had a real good laugh.
And I don't even have a dog.
But since we're all tired of being locked down, I'll stop plagiarising these COVID inside jokes.
And head outside where you can exercise without a mask, so long as its vigorous and strenuous.
Like I said, I'm not sure walking your dog, real or imagined, is enough.
You've got to put in a bit.
So we took up the offer the other day and went for a jog.
It was a little hard at first - to tell the difference between our walk and a jog.
Make that a shuffle.
But it soon got vigorous and strenuous, as indicated by the gasping.
The Rolling Stones lost their heartbeat this week in the form of Charlie Watts, and there was a similar feeling in our engine room.
Ironically at the end, we needed a mask.
An oxygen mask.
But we could breath easy we'd be played by the rules, even though we weren't breathing that easy.
In the meantime, we're holding our breath as to when we come out of lockdown.
