Attwill has coached Olympic for the past two seasons since they entered Northern NSW Football women's top-flight competition.
The club secured the 2020 premiership-championship double in her first campaign.
Olympic were second when the competition was abandoned with five rounds remaining this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. They finished with 42 points, one behind premiers Broadmeadow (43).
"I've loved my time at Olympic and what we've been able to achieve in the two years," Attwill told the Newcastle Herald.
"A highlight would have to be last year winning the premiership and the grand final win. I'd like to thank the club, the players and support staff. It's definitely not goodbye forever."
Olympic have confirmed the re-signings of 14 players for next season, including Jets striker Jemma House.
The competition will have National Premier League Women's status next year.
