A female trail bike has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after she collided with a tree near Muswellbrook.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was deployed to a rural property at Muscle Creek, east of Muswellbrook after reports a 48-year-old woman had collided with a tree and suffered head and chest injuries.
Paramedics attended and commenced treatment prior to the arrival of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and Critical Care Medical Team.
The Critical Care Team worked alongside paramedics to treat and stablise the patient before she was flown to John Hunter Hospital, in a serious but stable condition.
