COVID-19 cases in the Hunter New England Health region have jumped again, with 77 new cases recorded to 8pm on Saturday night.

Of the new cases, 23 are from Inverell, 17 from Moree Plains and eight are from Tamworth.
In the Hunter, Newcastle and Cessnock had seven cases, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens had five and Maitland had two.
Armidale had two cases, while MidCoast had one.
There were 73 cases reported on Saturday.
The new cases bring the total number of cases in the District to 3505 since 5 August 2021.
Fifty-six cases are linked to known exposures or clusters, six are unlinked, and the source of fifteen cases is under investigation.
Across NSW, there are 244 new local COVID-19 cases along with one further death.
Some 269 virus patients remain in hospitals around the state, 52 of them in intensive care.
Health officials say COVID testers processed more than 70,000 results in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday.
NSW is now 89.7 per cent fully vaccinated for people aged 16 and over, while 93.9 per cent have at least had one jab.
Hunter New England Health urged members of the public to get vaccinated and to get tested if any symptoms emerged.
It also said community members can now walk in to hubs across the district to receive their vaccinations. First and second doses are available for people aged 12 years and older. For people aged 18 years and older, who received their second vaccination more than six months ago, they may receive their booster dose.

- West Wallsend, Sugar Valley Community Centre, 66 Carrington Street, Thursday, 11 November, 10:30am to 1:30pm
- Cessnock, Cessnock Hospital, Foster Street Entrance, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November, 9am to 1pm
- Medowie, Medowie Public School, 15 Ferodale Road, Sunday, 14 November, 10am to 1pm
In addition, Hunter New England Health, in partnership with Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service is offering walk-in Pfizer vaccination clinics:
- Bendemeer, 87 Caroline Street, Monday 8 and 29 November, 10am to 1pm
- Somerton, Somerton Hall, corner Joshua Street and Scotland Road, Tuesday 9 and 30 November, 9am to 12noon.
- Moonbi, Chook Park, Thursday 25 November, 1pm to 2:30pm
