Lauren Allan is on board for her third year of A-League Women.
The 25-year-old plied her trade in the United States college system and will play in Northern NSW National Premier Leagues Women with Warners Bay next year.
She has what coach Ash Wilson describes as "engines for days" and the ability to hurt teams with speed to burn.
"Loz had a fantastic work rate," Wilson said. "She's fast. She likes to run with the ball and is a real attacking threat.
"She's very free-flowing in what she does, so when we're trying to play forward she's going to be important in terms of being an outlet in those areas."
NH: What was your first club, and how old were you?
LA: Kahibah Football Club, and I was five.
NH: What do you do off the field?
LA: I have a casual job at Viatek, which is a printing company. They're really flexible with soccer, so that's good. I'm also at uni in my third year of studying radiography. So, it's usually those two and training. I'm pretty active, so I also like to get outdoors for a walk.
NH: What music is playing on game day?
LA: I'll listen to whatever is playing in the sheds but I don't generally listen to music beforehand. It's more about just getting my thoughts together and trying to focus in on what I'm going to be doing. I'm one of those boring players who just sits there.
NH: What television series, if any, are you addicted to?
LA: I wouldn't say addicted but I like watching Greys Anatomy.
NH: What can't you live without?
LA: I probably couldn't live without carbs - bread and pasta.
NH: Do you have any pre-match habits?
LA: I get superstitious and think I can't eat past a certain time or I'll just be completely off.
