No further flooding is expected in the Lower Hunter after the Hunter River at Maitland fell below the minor flood level on Tuesday night.

The State Emergency Service said the level dropped under 5.90 metres at 6pm Tuesday. The service said this was a final warning and no further warnings will be issued for this event.

- Kingdon Ponds at Scone - 0.59m and steady at 2.34am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Aberdeen - 3.28m and falling at 1.45am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Muswellbrook - 3.24m and rising at 2am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Denman - 3.16m and falling at 1.30am Wednesday
- Goulburn River at Sandy Hollow - 2.807m and falling at 1.30am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Liddell - 7.37m and steady at 1.30am Wednesday
- Wollombi Brook at Bulga - 2.08m and falling at 1:45am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Singleton - 4.78m and falling at 1.30am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Greta - 5.69m and falling at 1.30am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) - 4.76m and falling 2.15am Wednesday
- Hunter River at Raymond Terrace - 1.02m and falling 2.15am Wednesday
