This makes perfect sense because can those three things ever be separated?
The issue puts the spotlight on international, national and local musicians.
"I love that fashion and music intertwine and that is what we are featuring in this issue," said Lara Lupish, the magazine's editor-in-chief.
The cover story features singer Vera Blue, who's latest single is called Temper. Also gracing the edition are Australia's Morgan Evans, Daniel Johns and New Zealander Ladyhawke.
And there's an interview with Matt Goss, of '80s pop band Bros.
The issue will be launched on Thursday.
Matthew McConaughey
Actor Matthew McConaughey says his time living at Warnervale and attending Gorokan High on the Central Coast gave him the resilience he needed to have a successful career in the movie business.
The actor spoke to the SMH about his year-long exchange trip in Australia in 1988 when he was 18.
He said the trip shaped the rest of his life and put him on the path to winning an Oscar.
Back at his home in Texas, he was voted "most handsome" in school, was getting straight As and dating the "best-looking girl at school".
In Australia, he had to make friends and worked six jobs. Funnily enough, he worked as a bank teller for ANZ at Toukley.
He said "the chicks were not digging me" in Australia and he fell into a bit of a "crisis".
"I'd begun to realise how valuable and enduring that year in Australia was for me, how I wouldn't be the man I am today unless I had taken that year," the actor said.
He opened up as part of a promotion for a tent, through his role as creative director for bourbon company Wild Turkey, which is collaborating with Melbourne startup company Homecamp.
Some of the proceeds from each tent go to the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife for bushfire regeneration.
"It's so hard to find places and time to have space without so much stimulus coming at us, in our work world, in our family world, in the city," he said.
He chose a tent to promote because he finds clarity when he spends time in the great outdoors. It helps him deal with his anxieties and fears.
He wrote in his memoir Greenlight: "I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was 15". He also revealed he was "molested by a man when I was 18 while knocked unconscious in the back of a van".
He also wrote: "I've never felt like a victim. I have a lot of proof that the world is conspiring to make me happy."
McConaughey won an Academy Award for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. We still reckon his best role was in Dazed and Confused.
