BEACH WATCH
Best to be in the water early while conditions are clean as there is a southerly change due for later on in the morning. Swell direction has swung more to the east and is lining up better on the shorebreaks. Swell from the East to S/E at 1m. Wind starting off N/W to West then swinging S/W to South and freshening. Good banks on the shorebreaks at Newcastle Beach, Dixon and Pogos. Try Cowrie towards high and Nobbys after the change come through. Small breaks at Redhead, Frenchmans and Hams. Box Beach and Samurai up at Port Stephens. Swimming conditions are cleaning up and stay between flags if going in. Water temp 20C. - Dave Anderson
