The Jets announced on Thursday that Boric had left the club due to work commitments.
The 23-year-old works at Loreto Normanhurst girls school in sports administration and is also studying a masters of science in pharmaceutical and medical device development.
Boric made her national league debut in round two of this season, when the Jets produced a resounding 5-1 win over Wellington Phoenix.
Magus has previously spent time with Western Sydney, who are the Jets' opponents this Saturday, and played with APIA Leichardt in NSW National Premier Leagues Women.
Jets coach Ash Wilson expressed disappointment at losing Boric with five games remaining in the season but expected Magus to seize the opportunity.
"Due to unexpected changing work commitments, [Georgia] had to make the difficult decision to discontinue the season and it's an unfortunate reminder of some of the pressures and challenges the women's game brings of balancing work and football," Wilson said.
The Jets host Wanderers at No.2 Sportsground on Saturday night. Kick-off is at 5.25pm.
