A CENTRAL Coast boy has been stabilised by emergency services after he was pulled unconscious from a pool in Bateau Bay.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter team was tasked to the incident by New South Wales Ambulance around 2.30pm Saturday afternoon.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated and stabilised the three-year-old who had been pulled from the pool by his parents.
Westpac said it was fortunate a registered nurse, who performed CPR for around 1 minute until the boy started to breath, was on scene.
The boy has since been transported to Gosford Hospital by NSW Ambulance, fully conscious in a stable condition, for further treatment and observation.
Emergency services have praised the efforts of the registered nurse.
