The two sides have made unbeaten starts to NPLW NNSW and are scheduled to meet round three, weather permitting.
Broadmeadow have opened their season with 5-2 and 3-1 wins over Adamstown and Charlestown respectively.
The Magpies were 4-0 winners over Mid Coast before a 5-0 rout of Newcastle Olympic, who finished one point behind Magic in the race for the minor premiership last year.
"That's the strength we're trying to build, that depth they have across the park," Walker said of Magic.
Broadmeadow coach Jake Curley expected a "well-organised" opponent and was well aware of the dangers they posed in an attack spearheaded by captain Sophie Stapleford, who produced a hat-trick against Olympic before setting up Maitland's other two goals.
Magpies centre-back Madi Gallegos is likely to return after missing the first two games through injury and illness while Magic will be at full strength aside from midfielder Keziah White, who sustained a season-ending knee injury in round one.
Meanwhile, the NPL men's match between Cooks Hill and Charlestown set to be played at No.2 Sportsground on Thursday night was postponed after the ground was deemed unfit for play.
