Head gardener Andrew Forster has more than one million bulbs ready to bloom in Commonwealth Park, which has taken a lot of planning and preparation.
The preparation started back in February and March with the help of 25 gardeners, who marked out garden bed patterns and dug out the pathways.
This year there is a mix of bulbs - tulips, daffodils, Dutch Iris, Grape Hyacinth, tritelia, pansies, violas, English daisies, poppies and chrysanthemums.
The flower beds will reflect a representation of things that people are passionate about from romance with pulsating hearts to gaming with Pac-Man and food with a cookbook.
In addition to the beautiful flower displays, visitors can pick up gardening tips, listen to musical performances, enjoy culinary demonstrations by world-renowned chefs and keep the kids entertained with an exciting line-up of activities.
From Wednesday September, 24 until Sunday, September 28, the flower beds will come alive for NightFest in new wacky and wonderful ways.
