In partnership with Screen Hunter, the China Festival will host a China Film Festival at Tower Cinemas, King Street, Newcastle from 6pm on October 1, 2 and 3.
This year's program includes China's official entry to the 2015 Oscars for best foreign film, The Nightingale.
After the film festival's final show a selection of noodles, dumplings and Chinese food will be on offer as part of the Night Noodle Markets in Crown Street, Newcastle, on Saturday, October 3, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
The Lucky is joining in on the fun with Asian-inspired food.
