Cupid’s Undie Run Noon to 4pm, Nobby’s Beach Surfclub. Organised by The Children’s Tumour Foundation of Australia, it raises funds and awareness for a genetic condition known as Neurofibromatosis. Run from the surf house up to the lighthouse, followed by an after party at the surf club with live music.
Newcastle Travel Expo 10am to 4pm, Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Showcases air, land, cruise and rail suppliers as well as tourism bodies, hotels and attractions from around the world. The event includes free travel presentations, entertainment, a kids’ zone and virtual reality experiences.
Fire Banned IV 11am to 10pm, The Wickham Park Hotel. Local musicians unite for a charity concert event to raise funds in support of the NSW Rural Fire Service. Cost is $5 for adults, children admitted free. All funds donated to the Wakefield Rural Fire Service.
