Dutchman Wout Brama has farewelled the Central Coast Mariners and the A-League to return to his hometown club in the Netherlands.

The Mariners on Friday thanked the 31-year-old for his efforts and wished him "all the best on his future endeavours" with FC Twente.
Brama arrived at the Central Coast club in the 2017/18 pre-season and made 22 appearances.
He scored two goals for the Mariners and was part of a Dutch midfield duo with Tom Hiariej, who joined the club at the same time.
The Mariners this season finished bottom of the ladder and were left reeling in March after the sudden resignation of coach Paul Okon.
