All units come fully equipped with all appliances including air-conditioning, designer kitchens with granite benchtops, fully compliant seniors bathrooms and high-quality finishes throughout.
All residents are encouraged to be as independent as they can be.
That said, Cameron Glen nursing staff are on site and on call 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
The care staff come to residents’ home as required.
Meals are available for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week in the community centre dining room to those residents who want them.
Most of the residents at Cameron Glen’s other villages come up every day for lunch.
Others just occasionally. The choice is always theirs.
The prices are extremely reasonable. A fully catered morning tea is served everyday free of charge for all residents.
The community centre is also used for resident activities. These include exercise classes, bingo, craft sessions, movie nights and regular visiting entertainers. It is totally up to the residents how much they want to participate in the village activities. Cameron Glen also has weekly shopping trips and regular outings in the village bus.
There is care staff on site 24/7, but a lot of residents don’t need any care at all, some just need a bit of a hand to get started in the morning like help with showering and getting dressed and medication supervision. Some require high care. Cameron Glen will be a fully accredited Approved Aged Care provider so it can facilitate access to Government Funded Home Care packages for residents.
