A totally transformed beach shack in Redhead that had its main bathroom featured in Grand Designs Australia magazine has attracted local and out-of-town interest since being listed for sale.
The modern five-bedroom residence has three designer bathrooms, three kitchens, a self-contained parents retreat and its own commercial-grade bar with built-in barbecue which extends to an outdoor pool area.
It is being marketed by Creer Property’s Peter Shiels and is open for inspection on Saturday at midday.
A price guide has not yet been set but Mr Shiels said “people are starting to realise Redhead is under-valued” and expected the home “to fetch a good price”.
“We’ve only had one open home and we’ve had heaps of interest,” Mr Shiels said.
“The finish of the home is of a high quality – the owner has a quite successful bathroom renovation business – and it is only a couple of blocks from the beach.”
