It has been described as “challenging”, technical and difficult race track winding through Newcastle’s historic East End.

Drivers will clock up 500 kilometres of racing at an average speed of 133 kilometres per hour over two days of racing. Top speeds can even reach 266 kilometres per hour.
The Coates Hire Newcastle 500 will also feature some of Australia’s best support categories including the grand final of the Dunlop Super2 Series, the Toyota 86 Series, the Australian Touring Car Masters.
