The Welcome to Day One panel will be held on May 13 at the University of Newcastle's Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) on Hunter Street.
The panel comprises investor, tech entrepreneur and mentor Alan Jones, Camplify chief executive Justin Hales, Newie Ventures managing director Heath Raftery, BlueChilli senior product manager Cheryl Gledhill and I2N manager Siobhan Curran.
Topics that will be canvassed by the panel, led by Welcome to Day One podcast founder Adam Spencer, include the challenges of starting up in a regional area, funding and finding access to capital and the current innovation ecosystem and its challenges.
