Big Bar Beach sale at auction
A Bar Beach home that had been in the same family for around 70 years sold under the hammer on Wednesday night for $3.6 million.
PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie marketed the three-bedroom home on a corner block around 900 square metres in size at 31 Parkway Avenue with a guide of $3.2 million.
Agent Chasse Ede said there were five registered bidders with a local buyer securing the property. Proceeds from the sale are headed to charity.
