Emergency crews have freed an elderly man who was trapped in a motor home at Port Stephens, after it was involved in a crash with a truck on Monday morning.

Three paramedic teams and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were called to Nelson Bay Road at Bobs Farm just after 9.10am following reports of the collision.
They treated three people at the scene.
A 90-year-old man, one of the two motor home occupants, was freed from the vehicle just after 10.30am.
He has been taken to John Hunter Hospital.

A Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said he suffered head and limb injuries and was in a serious condition.
The other motor home occupant, a woman aged in her 70s, was immediately escaped the vehicle after the crash and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The male truck driver has also been taken to hospital in a stable condition, suffering back pain.
