After 17 performances covering a vast variety of global classical styles, Walker will draw the curtain on TMD on August 9 at the Adamstown Uniting Church.

GIG GUIDE: All the shows that matter this weekend
ROLL UP It's been 60 years since the tragic "The Day The Music Died" when three of rock'n'roll's brightest stars - Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper - perished in a plane crash. However, the music of Holly and the Big Bopper lives on in The Rock & Roll Circus Tour's Class Of 59, which hits the Cessnock Performing Arts Centre on August 31. Besides hits like Holly's That'll Be The Day and Bopper's Chantilly Lace, the show also features classics from Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and Jerry Lee Lewis.
HONOUR The man considered to be Australia's first Indigenous music star, Jimmy Little, will be celebrated later this year to mark the 20-year anniversary of his ARIA award-winning album Messenger. Little died in 2012 aged 75, but not before leaving a lasting legacy. Brendan Gallagher, who produced Messenger, is bringing the album back to life with Little's grandson and songwriter James Henry for a series of shows, including a November 13 gig at Lizotte's. Messenger featured covers of iconic Australian songs like Under The Milky Way by The Church and Cattle & Cane by The Go-Betweens.
COLOURFUL Sydney's Rainbow Chan kicks off her tour for new album Pillar at the Cambridge Hotel on Sunday. Expect an immersive show, combining music and interpretative dance.
