The strong athletics talent was evident with a number of records broken on the day and multiple students were selected for the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges event next month.
Torrie Lewis from St Mary's Gateshead broke the record in the 14yrs 200m with a time of 29.90.
Michael McCarthy from St Paul's Booragul broke the record in the 13yrs 100m that had stood since 1980 with a time of 11.97.
Harrison Doley from St Mary's Maitland smashed the record in the 17 years and over 800m with a time of 1.59.68.
Travis Peterson from St Pius Adamstown broke the record in the 16yrs shot put with a throw of 14.43.
Liam Fairweather from St Mary's Maitland broke a long standing record from 1990 in the 17 years and over long jump with a jump of 6.87.
Riley Blewitt from St Peter's Maitland broke the record in the junior triple jump with a jump of 11.34 and Kane Thomas equalled a record in the senior triple jump with a jump of 12.75.
It looks like there will be some very promising results at NSW Combined Catholic Colleges.
