The Newcastle 500 will remain as the season-ending race for next year's Supercars Championship, but it will be held slightly later than the preceding three events.

The 2020 calendar was released on Wednesday with the Newcastle 500 set down for December 4-6.
There are 14 race weekends in total with a mid-season break for the Tokyo Olympics around late July and early August.
"It was important to us to increase the amount of Supercar racing for the fans at track and at home," Supercars chief executive officer Sean Seamer said.
"SuperSprint weekends are now full of Supercars racing on both days and we are really stepping up the entertainment value for fans and partners, on and off the track."
Scott McLaughlin wrapped up his maiden title in Newcastle last year following a dramatic final race of the season.
The 2019 event will be the third straight Newcastle 500.
