The annual Christmas Lights Spectacular kicks off on November 8 with newly created immersive displays including light tunnels.
"This year's event is our biggest and most interactive yet, with more attractions and installations on offer than ever before," Hunter Valley Gardens marketing manager Grace Redman says.
"We have incorporated a range of new displays that cater to different audiences and we can't wait to reveal them."
More than 3 million lights will illuminate the gardens and take you on a festive journey to remember. There's the eight-metre tall Mega Christmas tree, Santa's enchanting workshop and the popular Around the World display.
Children can write a letter to the North Pole and get a photo with Santa Claus and the Little Scallywagz will be returning with their Rock'n Elfy's show to share the Christmas cheer.
This year, for the first time, couples can soak up the romantic energy in the Lover's Corner, taking a stroll through a heart tunnel and stealing a kiss under the mistletoe. If you're feeling particularly loved up, there are proposal packages available to create the perfect moment for your bride or groom-to-be.
Visitors dreaming of a Northern Hemisphere-style Christmas will enjoy the White Christmas scene and its white treetops, snow cave and arctic animals.
For the young and young at heart, there will be inflatable zones, jumping castles and thrill-seeking rides. Fan favourites include the majestic Venetian Carousel, a Ferris Wheel which gives you a beautiful view of the gardens from above, the classic Swing Chair and a 35-metre Superslide.
Staples returning include food and beverage stalls, roaming entertainment, the giant Walk-Through Bauble, the Princess Castle, Fairyland and Candyland.
